Friends, I just read this book and I'm so excited to share it with you!

There's a chapter where Anne — the author — is so determined to get the perfect family photo. You know the one. Everyone looks happy, the light is right, the moment feels captured. Except...everyone was stressed. Everyone was performing.

Somehow that one scene said everything about how we show up as mothers — the gap between what we want to project and what we're actually living.

I had to put the book down and just sit with that for a minute.
