La Gaitana Scarf
Description
This scarf is a tribute to La Cacica Gaitana, who led many indigenous peoples against the Spanish conquest during the 16th century, in the southern territory of Colombia. It symbolizes an indigenous woman, mother, warrior, and revolutionary. Their bravery inspires us to fight for our beliefs. It also reminds us that unity is strength. Wear this scarf to represent strength and leadership in honor of the indigenous women of our country. Illustrated by Paloma Ruiz.
Made of 100% Recycled PET in Colombia. Each scarf repurposes four plastic bottles.
