Discover Our Favorite Coffee Shops Near EVAMAIA Boutique

The only thing we love more than Colombian fashion is a good cup of COFFEE! ☕️

That’s why we’re thrilled to bring you Part 1 of our Coffee Shop Guide featuring some of our favorite spots near EVAMAIA Boutique on Ventura Place. Whether you're in the mood for a quick espresso or want to cozy up with a cappuccino and your favorite read, these cafes have something special to offer.

1) Yala Coffee:

11824 Ventura Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 91604

"Yala Coffee has officially opened its doors in Studio City, bringing a taste of the Middle East to this vibrant Los Angeles neighborhood. Despite having no formal background in the culinary or hospitality industries, husband-and-wife owners Zain and Marissa Shammas are taking traditional coffee brewing methods and infusing them with a modern flair.

Zain, a film director, and Marissa, a former esthetician, are channeling their creativity and passion for coffee, hospitality and time-honored techniques into Yala Coffee, using hot sand to brew coffee with rich and authentic flavors.

Here is some fun trivia for you:

"Yallah" is a common slang term across many Middle Eastern cultures, meaning something like "let's go!" or "hurry up!" in Arabic. Embracing their mission to modernize traditional Middle Eastern practices, they decided to "LA-ify" the name by altering the spelling, signaling their intention to not change or claim these techniques, but rather make something new."

 EVAMAIA recommends:

We've only had a chance to savor the Evil Eye Coffee with cardamon cream on top. It's worth ordering this beauty just so you can watch the barista make it over a bed of hot sand.

2) Saint Coffee Shop:

11706 Moorpark St, Los Angeles, California 91604

Helen and Ezequiel are thrilled to welcome you to Saint, a coffee shop that blends their passions and heritage, reflecting the values and traditions that have shaped their lives.

At Saint, every cup tells a story that began in childhood. Helen, who grew up in El Salvador, fondly recalls visiting friends' coffee plantations, where picking beans started as a game and blossomed into a passion. The excitement of filling baskets and being paid by weight sparked a deep appreciation for the craft and hard work behind every bean.

Today, that playful curiosity has evolved into a commitment to quality and community. They source their coffee with care, respecting the hands that nurture each crop. At Saint, they proudly serve organic coffee, ensuring that every cup is not only delicious but also respectful of the environment and the communities that cultivate it.

EVAMAIA recommends:

The Cappuccino here is like no other in LA! The baristas here are clearly passionate about all of the details: from the grind size to the the foam art. They offer delicious food too. Our favorite kitchen item so far is the spinach quiche.

3) Coffee and Plants

12334 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA 91604

Coffee And Plants is a new kind of neighborhood coffee shop with a grand mission - to help the planet one cup at a time!

Coffee And Plants is a mission-driven, plant-based coffee concept like no other. Every time you enjoy an item from their menu, it reduces our carbon footprint as a whole. They accomplish this by eliminating the damaging environmental impacts of the dairy industry, and by partnering with the National Forest Foundation to commit to planting a tree for every 100 cups sold.

EVAMAIA Recommends:

The Lavender Latte is sooo good! For food, we prefer the pastries over the kitchen items. This is a fully vegan coffee shop, so the egg items taste just ok to this non-vegan Colombiana.

4) Alfred Coffee:

12077 Ventura Pl, Studio City, CA 91604

It all began on Melrose Place—not the TV show, but a quaint, tree-lined street nestled in the heart of Los Angeles. When Alfred opened its first coffee shop there in 2013, it quickly gained a loyal following thanks to its distinctive café design, exceptional customer service, and creative, trendsetting drinks—especially the renowned Iced Vanilla Latte.

With locations now spanning the U.S. and beyond, Alfred's mission remains simple: to ensure that every customer, whether new or returning, leaves just as delighted by their experience as they are by their drink.

EVAMAIA Recommends:

We know Alfred is famous for the Iced Vanilla Latte. But the real gem here is the matcha latte. Take it iced or hot, with whole milk or oat...it's all so delicious.

5) Blue Bottle Coffee:

11962 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA 91604

Blue Bottle is a specialty coffee company that takes your good taste seriously. Whether you lean toward bold coffee blends or bright, more lightly roasted single origins, they want to help you find your favorites, whatever your coffee mood. If you don’t know what kind of coffee you like, they will help you find it.

Whether it's a blend or single origin, Blue Bottle treats all their coffees with equal care. For each coffee, they craft a custom roast tailored to bring out the best expression of its unique flavor profile. With specific flavors in mind and a precise scoring system in place, they ensure they consistently hit the mark every time.

EVAMAIA Recommends:

New Orleans style iced coffee is a must at Blue Bottle: sweet, creamy, and always delicious. This coffee is slowly cold-brewed with roasted chicory and topped with just the right amount of sugar and your choice of milk.
